You can set up custom fields to make sure you have all the information you need for your company's travel processes and reporting.
There are 2 types of custom fields:
User profile fields
User profile fields are free-text fields you can add to a user's profile. You can use them to categorize your travelers using unique identifiers from other systems.
Identifiers can be things like employee numbers and they can be imported from external systems, such as an ERP system identifier.
User profile fields cannot be modified when booking a trip, but they will appear on your reports.

Booking fields
You can use Booking fields to categorize and collect more information about trips. These fields can be completed using Free text or Select, where travelers choose from a list of options. You can create as many options as you need.
Booking fields can be mandatory for all trips and you can limit the number of characters for Free text.
You decide the field's name and can use it to track departments, customer/project codes, reasons for travel, explanations for fare selections, travel preferences, special requests, and dietary restrictions.
