Getting started for Travel Managers

Travel Managers have specific travelers assigned to them and for those travelers, they can:

Book trips for travelers

On the TravelPerk homepage, select the Flights, Trains, Stays or Cars tab. Enter all the trip details and in the Add first traveller box, type the traveler’s name or email. You can add multiple travelers to a trip.

Approvals

Travel Managers can skip approval processes and approve trips for travelers assigned to them. 

Admins can track trips that skipped the approval process and approvers will receive notifications for any new bookings made by travelers they approve trips for.

Review and change trips

Travel Managers can review trips for your assigned travelers by going to the Trips page. Here you can review, change or cancel a trip.

We'll contact the Travel Manager if there are any questions about a trip.

Only Admins can add and remove travelers you manage. They can follow the instructions on Add or remove travelers assigned to a Travel Manager.

Edit profile details

For the travelers that you manage, you can edit:

  • Travel document details
  • Loyalty programs
  • Train discount cards

Travel Managers can't:

  • Edit roles or account settings
  • Create or invite new users

To access a traveler's profile, click on their name. There are 3 places you can do this:

  • on the TravelPerk homepage after adding them to the trip
  • on the Trips page after selecting a trip
  • on the Request approval page before asking for approval
