Some stays manage payments differently. For these stays, TravelPerk generates a prepaid virtual credit card with the booking amount and sends it to the property. They charge the card before you arrive.
Before check-in
We’ll email you the payment details and check-in instructions. You can also find them in the TravelPerk app.
Download the app to always have your payment details at hand.
- For stays in the US and Canada: You'll receive the virtual credit card in the TravelPerk app and attached to an email 24 hours before check-in.
- For stays in other countries: The virtual credit card is only shared if the property hasn't processed the payment for your stay 24 hours before check-in.
When you check-in
If you're asked to pay, show the email with the payment details or the virtual credit card in the TravelPerk app.
If you can't find the payment email from TravelPerk, search for "Action needed for your stay" and check your spam folder.
You can also go to the TravelPerk app and resend the email to a new address provided by the property staff at check-in.
What's covered?
Extras, incidentals and city tax are not included in the room rate and aren't covered by the virtual credit card. You’ll need to pay for those with your own credit card.
The hotel may ask for a deposit for incidentals. This is a temporary hold placed on your card to cover any potential charges during your stay.
