- Only Admins can use this feature
There are 2 ways to create a guest profile on TravelPerk:
Invite a guest
- Invite guests who need access to the platform and need to book their own trips.
- They'll have to activate their account before they can start booking trips.
Add a guest manually
- Manually add guests who need to book trips or be added to trips immediately.
- You can decide if they have access to the platform or not.
- You can add their personal details.
Guests must be assigned to an approval process where all trips need approval.

Invite a guest
- Go to the People page
- Click Invite people
- Enter the guest's email address and decide if you want to add a custom message
- Next to Invite settings, click Edit settings
- Under Role, select Guest from the list
- Under Approval process, select an approval process where all trips need approval
- Click Save settings
- Click Send invite
The guest must activate their accounts using the link in the welcome email before they can be added to trips or use the platform.
Add a guest manually
- Go to the People page
- Click Invite people
- At the bottom of the form, click add manually
- Select if you want the guest to have No access or Allow access
- Add the guest's email and personal information
- Under Role, select Guest from the list
- Select the account settings and under Approval process, select an approval process where all trips need approval
- Click Add person
Once the new guest profile is created, they can be added to trips immediately.
Approval processes for guests
- Guests must be assigned to an approval process where all trips need approval.
- Guests with platform access can't see or select any settings when booking trips. If billing details are missing, the approver needs to add them.
- If you delete the approval process assigned to a guest, they won't be able to book any trips. They'll need to contact an Admin to be assigned to an approval process and continue with the booking.
- Automatic approval processes for guests are not available.
- Guests can be assigned to multiple approval processes.
