If you've had an issue with a flight or train booking, you might be given a voucher or open ticket. These can be used for your next booking with the same airline or train company.
Here's a few things to be aware of:
- The voucher must be used by the original traveler.
- Bookings with a voucher can take longer to process as we manage them manually.
- Vouchers can't be applied to all bookings. If we can't apply the voucher, we'll use your selected payment method to make the booking and let you know. This prevents price increases and flights/trains from selling out.
- Vouchers expire, so you'll need to use them before the expiry date or check with our team to see if they can be extended.
Apply flight or train vouchers to a booking
- Search for a flight or train
- If you have a voucher or open ticket available, you’ll see a banner with the amount
- Select a flight/train with the airline/train company you have the voucher for
- Choose the fare and add any extras
- Give your trip a name and click Continue
- On the checkout page, you'll be reminded that, if possible the voucher will be used for your trip
- Select the invoicing details and payment method, then click Confirm payment or Send approval request
We’ll manage your request manually, so you won't receive the confirmation email immediately.
If we can't apply the voucher, we'll use your selected payment method to make the booking.
Once your trip is booked, the confirmation email includes the booking price breakdown with any applied vouchers.
Your invoice will show the full price of the booking without any voucher discounts. To find out about your company's vouchers, contact your Account Manager.
