After you book a train, we’ll send you a confirmation email with one or more of the following:
- the booking reference
- the ticket collection reference
- a PDF ticket attachment with an electronic ticket (eTicket)
You can also access all the trip information and tickets on the Trips page and the TravelPerk app.
Deutsche Bahn, Renfe, Thalys, Italo, NS International and SNCF tickets
An eTicket will be attached as a PDF to your booking confirmation email.
You can show the eTicket on your mobile phone or print the eTicket before you travel.
Eurostar tickets
An eTicket will be attached as a PDF to your booking confirmation email.
You can:
- show the eTicket on your mobile phone
- print the eTicket before you travel
- use the booking reference to print your tickets at a self-service machine
OBB
You can generate your tickets on the Trips page. Open your trip, find the right train and click Generate ticket.
If the ticket generation doesn't work, contact our Customer Care team.
Standard, Komfort and Sparschiene Komfort tickets are only refundable before the ticket is generated. Once the tickets are generated, they will no longer be refundable.
Ouigo France
Ouigo France tickets are only available 4 days before the train's departure and they will be sent to the person who booked the trip.
You can also get your tickets on the Ouigo France website from 4 days before the departure:
- Find the Booking reference and email on your TravelPerk confirmation email or the Trips page
- Go to the Ouigo France website
- Enter the Booking email and Booking reference and click Validate
- Click Access your ticket
Trenitalia
Your booking confirmation email contains the booking reference. This is your ticket and you must show it when asked. You do not need to print or download a ticket.
You might need to check in for Regional Trenitalia trains, follow the instructions on Check-in for Regional Trenitalia trains.
Once you check in it's not possible to change the booking.
UK trains
When booking a train in the UK, you can choose from 2 methods of ticket delivery:

Collect from any station with a ticket machine - use the ticket collection reference in your booking confirmation email and any debit or credit card to collect your tickets from the self-service machines at the station. Tickets can only be printed once. If you misplace your ticket, contact the station staff.

Electronic tickets (PDF eTickets) - an eTicket will be attached to your booking confirmation email. Download the eTicket and scan the QR code at the ticket gate or show it to the station staff.
You’ll receive an eTicket for each leg of your journey and each person traveling.
