What's the difference between invoice profiles, cost centers, and labels? When should I be using them? What implications do they have? 🤔
What is the difference?
- 🏢 An invoice profile is the legal entity that your trip is being billed to. For example, it could be your company headquarters, or perhaps the London office. Read more on Invoice Profiles here.
- 🗃️ A cost center is optional, it usually refers to the department that the trip is being filed under. Admins can use this to keep track of which departments are spending what. The cost center also appears on the trip invoice. Learn how to manage your cost centers here.
- 🏷️ A label is optional, it's another way of tagging trips to make it easy for company admins to filter trips. It could be used, for example, to label trips for a specific project that multiple departments are a part of. The labels also appear on the invoice. Make the most out of labels by following these tips.
