This feature is currently in BETA testing. It is only available for some customers on the TravelPerk website.
If your plans change or you no longer need to travel, the person who booked the trip can cancel the pending approval request.
Once the request is canceled, the trip becomes a draft, which can be edited or deleted. Once you've edited the request, you can submit it again for approval.
Cancel and edit pending approval requests
To cancel and edit pending approval requests, follow these steps:
- Go to the Trips page
- Find the relevant trip and click Cancel approval request. If you want to check the trip details before canceling the request, click Review trip. You can also cancel the request on the trip details page.
- Add a message for the approver and click Cancel request
- The approver will be notified and the trip will become a draft
- On the Trips page, select the Drafts tab
- Find the trip you canceled the approval request for and click Continue editing
- You can change or delete any requests on the trip and/or add something new
- Once you've updated the trip, click Continue
