Default approval processes apply to everyone in your company.
If someone is assigned to multiple approval processes, the most restrictive process is applied. Manually created processes are considered the most restrictive, followed by automated processes and then default.
If there are no approval processes assigned to someone, no approval is required to book trips and make changes.
For information about other types of approval processes, see Set up an approval process and Understanding approval processes.
