Trenitalia requires all passengers on regional trains to check in before their journey.
Check-in must be completed online and is open from midnight on the day of travel.
To check-in for a Regional Trenitalia train, follow these steps:
- Find the Booking reference (PNR) and email on your TravelPerk confirmation email or the Trips page
- Go to Trenitalia's website
- At the top of the page, select Manage your tickets
- Select I have the Email/PNR
- Enter the Booking reference (PNR) and email
- Click Check-in and travel
- Enter the requested information and download your validated ticket
