Book an Airbnb on TravelPerk

• You need to have a Pro or Premium account to use this feature

To book an Airbnb on TravelPerk, at least one traveler must have an Airbnb account.

If none of the travelers have an Airbnb account, you'll need to create one before requesting to book. For more information, go to Airbnb.com. 

Types of Airbnb bookings

There are 2 types of Airbnb bookings:

• Instant book: The booking is confirmed immediately.  
• Approval required by the host: The host has 24 hours to approve or decline the booking request. If the host does not respond within 24 hours, the request expires.

Tip: You can filter Airbnb searches to avoid waiting for host approval. Click the Filters button, go to Booking options and select Instant Book. 

Book an Airbnb on TravelPerk

To book an Airbnb on TravelPerk, you'll need to submit a request using the Concierge tab and we'll make the booking for you. 

Note: Currently, TravelPerk can only make Airbnb bookings for a maximum of 28 days. If you need a longer stay we have other options available on the Stays tab.  

1. On Airbnb's website, find the accommodation you want to book
2. Check the availability and price for the number of guests you require. If it’s available, you'll be able to click the Reserve button
   
3. At the top of the Airbnb page, click Share and then click Copy link
   
   
4. On TravelPerk, go to the Concierge tab 
5. Select Airbnb
6. Add the travelers - the first traveler must be the person with an Airbnb account
7. Add the copied Airbnb link, booking dates, number of guests, total price listed on Airbnb and the email for the first traveler's Airbnb account
8. Select the payment details - the invoice profile, cost center, and labels will be linked to the first traveler
9. Click Send Request

When the booking is complete, you'll receive a confirmation email from TravelPerk and Airbnb. 

If you've selected an Airbnb that requires approval by the host, the host has 24 hours to approve or decline the request. 

First time booking an Airbnb on TravelPerk

If it's your first Airbnb booking through TravelPerk, you'll receive an email from Airbnb asking you to authorize TravelPerk to make bookings on your behalf.

Booking requests can expire if you do not accept the authorization promptly. 

Our team can only make the booking once the authorization has been accepted. Depending on the type of Airbnb booking you've selected, it might not be confirmed immediately.
