Upgrading your flight can enhance your travel experience. Here's how to go about it:
Claiming free extras with frequent flyer status
If you’re a frequent flier, you might be eligible for free upgrades. Any perks you get because of your frequent flyer status won't appear on the TravelPerk platform. To claim the free extras you’re entitled to, visit the airline’s website after completing your booking instead.
Using points for upgrades or additional perks
You can use your accumulated points to upgrade your flight or purchase extras by reaching out to the airline directly. Unfortunately, due to confidentiality policies, our Customer Care team can't assist with this.
Purchasing upgrades or extras with your credit card
If you want to use your credit card to buy upgrades or extras, you must do this directly with the airline. At TravelPerk, we can only use the company payment method on file.
Note on airline upgrades
Please be aware that if the airline upgrades your flight, they assume direct ownership of the ticket. If this happens, our Customer Care team may not be able to help with changes or cancellations for your booking. So, be sure about the upgrade before proceeding.
