This guide will help you join TravelPerk, set up your profile and start traveling.
If you are trying to set up TravelPerk for your company, go to the Getting started for Admins guide.
Step 1: Join TravelPerk
You’ve probably already received an invitation email with your username. Click Get started to begin.
If you can’t find your invitation, check your spam folder or ask one of your admins to resend it.
Step 2: Complete your personal profile information
Include as much information as possible in your profile. This will simplify the booking process and we won't have to contact you for any additional information.
We recommend that you add the following:
- Personal details - name, date of birth, sex, country of residence and contact number
- Travel documents - passports, ID cards and TSA KTN/Redress Number
- Loyalty programs and discount cards - frequent flyer numbers, hotel and rental car loyalty numbers and train discount cards
- Preferences and settings - language preference, region, currency, distance and weight formats
To complete your personal profile information, follow these steps.
- In the top right corner of your TravelPerk homepage, click your profile picture
- Select Your profile
- Go to the relevant section, click Edit and enter the information
- Click Save settings
If you don’t have all of your personal information with you right now, you can add it later. Follow the instructions on Edit your profile.
Tip: For live chat and email support in English, German or Spanish, you need to change your language on TravelPerk. For instructions, see Change the language on TravelPerk or the TravelPerk app.

- Approvals/requests: we automatically send admins or approvers an email when you request approval for a trip. If you need approval as soon as possible, get in touch with them personally.
