To pay for a trip with a credit or debit card, you'll need to create a payment profile for the card. There are two types of credit or debit cards you can use:
- a personal card that only you can see at the checkout
- a company card that other users can see - can only be created by Admins
We accept American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and Diners Club.
Travelperk uses a secure connection for all bookings and your personal data and credit card details are encrypted using Secure Socket Layer technology, the online industry’s standard.
For more information about payment profiles, see Create, edit, delete or archive a payment profile or Add a personal payment card.

2-factor authentication
Due to EU regulations, 3DS verification is now required for credit and debit card payments on TravelPerk.
Depending on various factors, such as your bank and the transaction amount, this may prompt a 2-factor authentication process to confirm the payment.
If your bank requires 2-factor authentication, a pop-up message will appear and you'll have 2 options:
-
Yes, I can enter the code - if you can complete the verification step yourself or are with someone who can. The code may be sent to you as a mobile notification, SMS, or through your bank's mobile app. Once you confirm the payment, your trip will be booked automatically.
- No, notify code owners - if you can't complete the verification. The code owners will receive an email notification and they'll be asked to verify the payment and redirected to TravelPerk's. Once they confirm the payment, your trip will be booked automatically.
Note: The code owners are the people selected as Payment authorizers when the payment profile was created.
Tip: If you are having issues with 2-factor authentication, you can request that your bank or card issuer recognize TravelPerk as a trusted provider. You can also consider another form of payment for your bookings.
