Follow this step-by-step guide to search flights and book the one that suits your trip.
How to book an flight instantly on TravelPerk
Search and results
- Starting from the Home page, make sure you're on the Flights tab
- Select whether you're looking for a round-trip, one-way, or multi-city flight
- Select where you're flying from and to
- Select the travel dates from the calendar
- Select the cabin class if necessary
- Select yourself or type any other traveler's name to add them to the flight
- Press Search flights
- Use the filters or sorting options to narrow down your results
- Found one you like the look of? Press Select
Fares and extras
- If other fares are available, you'll see a page where you can select the fare that's right for you. Either Continue with this fare or Select another fare to continue.
- Select any extras, like Checked baggage
- Add your loyalty program if applicable
- Seat preferences or dietary restrictions? Add these as special requests
- Press Add flight to trip
- Give your trip a name then press Continue (you won't be charged yet)
- If you have an approval process in place, you'll see a button to Request approval, otherwise you'll see Confirm payment.
- That's it! Either your approver will approve the trip, or you'll receive the confirmation email immediately.
How to submit a flight booking request on TravelPerk
When should I submit a flight booking request?
If you have a Premium or Pro account, you will also be able to request flight bookings from our agents - only in following special cases:
- You found a cheaper flight somewhere else
- The flight you want isn’t available on TravelPerk
- You need to book a flight with children
- You want to use a resident discount (Canary and Balearic Islands only)
Our agents will then book the flight on your behalf.
How does it work?
You can click on the Help page from anywhere in the app. In order to change or cancel a trip, follow the following steps:
- Open the Help page (at the top right of the application) or Concierge tab (on your home page)
- On the Help page, click on 'Book another service' > 'Book a Flight'
- On the Concierge tab, select 'Flight'
- Select what you need help with. You'll have the following choices
- I found a cheaper flight somewhere else
- The flight I want isn’t available on TravelPerk
- I need to book a flight with children
- I want to use a resident discount (Canary and Balearic Islands only)
- Something else
- Select where you're flying from and to
- Select the travel dates from the calendar
- Select the cabin class if necessary
- Add a link to the flight you'd like to book and/or a screenshot of the flight you'd like to book
- Adding a screenshot is very helpful to avoid any misunderstandings!
- Add the total price of the flight
- We'll use this to determine whether your booking request is in or out of policy
- Double-check all the information before sending the request! The traveler will receive a copy in their inbox once the request is sent 🙂
What happens next
Our agents will take care of your request. In general, those changes won’t happen instantly! So don’t worry if they’re not visible right away, you’ll see them reflected on the booking in a few hours.
What happens if we're very busy?
If we are very busy, our response times may be slightly longer than usual. In that case, we will prioritise urgent requests.
- If you are contacting us at a busy time and your request is related to a booking happening in the next 72h, we consider it as urgent and will prioritise it.
- If you are contacting us at a busy time and your request is related to a booking happening after the next 72h, we will address it as soon as we've solved all the urgent requests. Thanks for your understanding!
